The EMCmini Symposiums first started in late 2015 when we planned and presented three events in three different locations – Phoenix, Irvine and San Jose. Those events were successful with our Irvine event being sold out and the other two having satisfactory attendance by EMC engineers from around the nearby territories. For 2021, the symposium remains a highly-packed one-day event. As our entire society is slowing awakening from an enforced period of remote working and cancelled or scaled down gatherings, we expect this event to be a welcome change to a technical community that is hungry for in-person collaboration.
These events are particularly targeted for EMC & Safety Engineers and Managers. In general, we present material that is of value to both new as well as highly experienced engineers. For our Los Angeles EMCmini Oct 7th Symposium, we estimate minimum 80 attendees to a max of 130.
The attendee registration cost is $75.00. Vendor cost is $575.00 for a Table-top style exhibit or slightly more, $875.00 for a full 10’ booth space. For our 2021 event, vendor attendance/support will be very important to our audience. The total number of vendors/exhibitors will be no more than two dozen; possibly less as space may be limited.
At the Hotel Fullerton (AKA Crowne Plaza Hotel-Fullerton), all vendors will set up in the same room as the technical presentations. The room is quite large and there will be no crowding at all. All spaces will have power. There are no additional charges for any vendor. Set up on the morning of the event is assumed for all vendors but if you need room access the night before, we may be able to arrange it. Lunch, drinks and all-day snacks are presented within the same area.
This will be a ONE-FULL-DAY event. The morning session will start at 0830 hrs. The follow-on sessions will be presented as noted in the program but last-minute changes or additions are possible. Demonstrations are included with one or more of the presentations. A fine lunch at our hotel is included for all attendees and vendors. The Symposium will conclude by no later than 1730 hrs.
After our formal symposium has concluded, an optional (TBD) has been scheduled at (TBD). All attendees and vendors will be invited to this event. Food and drinks will be served and additional test engineers will be present to answer questions. The (TBD) tour will conclude by 2000hrs. In lieu of an off-site (TBD), drinks and appetizers will be served to all attendees and vendor personnel at the hotel at conclusion of event.

The EMCmini Symposium is NEW for 2021
It is focused on the subject of testing for proof of compliance to EMC & ESD standards required by US and Global markets. From demonstrations and presentations, you will learn about detecting, localizing and reducing or eliminating unwanted RF energy from your manufactured RF devices.
